Community
The linchpin of the Ribét Academy community is our students. The focus of all the efforts of the school administration, faculty and our students' parents is to give our students the opportunities they need to develop, expand and excel. By working together to support their achievement we hope to model for the students that cooperation, communication and determination are signposts on the road to success and that individual excellence makes the entire community, in fact the world, a better place.
That idea, that the definition of community can include the whole world is another thing that we want to model for the students. We have worked consciously to maintain a diverse campus that reflects not only the wonderful variety of the Los Angeles region but the globe as well. Walk around our campus, you will see the faces and hear the languages of many cultures and countries. We invite students from around the world to attend Ribét for a semester or a full year, with the goal of affording all the students the chance to make friendships that will span the globe and time. Our hope is that these friendships will lead to a bigger and yet smaller community that supports tolerance, respect and caring for all the inhabitants of planet earth.
