Mr. Rafael Sanchez

About: Spanish 1,2 and 3 teacher. I was born in Cuba, raised in Los Angeles and attended Pater Noster (the previous school before Ribet.) I have three children and one granddaughter, and 32 year old, a 10th grader, and a 6th grader. I enjoy spending time with my boys,  reading, and working on my new company.

Education: I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Laws and a JD from Western State University, College of Law, an MBA from Pepperdine University and have a CBEST certification . Throughout my fourteen years of teaching, I have always worked hard to provide a positive and fun learning environment for my students using Kinesthetic styles to keep them engaged.

Teaching Since: 2007. Before coming to Ribét Academy, I taught at Platt College in Alhambra for 5 years

Teaching at St. Matthew since: 2018

Favorite part about St. Matthew: Throughout my 2 years of teaching at Ribet is the tremendous friendships that I have developed not only with other teachers but with students as well.
