Mrs. April Lustre
About: Raised in Los Angeles since I was five years old, never left, and will probably never leave. I am married to my high school sweetheart and have two boys, one is a junior in high school and the other is in kindergarten. I enjoy reading, swimming, eating out, and being under the sun.
Education: I earned my BA in Liberal Arts and Asian American Studies from Cal State Northridge and am certified in TESOL from Oxford Seminars.
How long you have been teaching: Taught elementary, middle school, high school, and adults for a combined amount of 14 years.
How long you have been at Ribet: Since 2014
Your favorite part about Ribet: I love the diversity in my classroom. I remember one year I had students from Japan, Turkey, Nigeria, Congo, Armenia, Siberia, and China. I taught them English, but they taught me their culture.
