Orchestra

Orchestra is to promote musical appreciation, knowledge and participation. Students learn individual skills, ensemble skills and musical skills. 

 

The Concert Band is open to instrumental students from 6th to 12th grade. Auditions are held for placement into this program. Instrumentation varies depending on the the number of students accepted into the program. 

 

Junior Band is open to grades 6th to 9th and is designs for a more individualized learning to increase the level of improvement. Students work to improve tone, pitch, rhythm, and technique. 

 

Participation in the Performing Arts is an essential part of the classes. Performing in shows throughout the year is a non-negotiable part of this class.
